Frankfurt am Main - September 24, 2020 - Frankfurt School Blockchain Center and SettleMint have entered into a partnership. SettleMint is a leading low-code platform for rapid blockchain innovation. By making enterprise blockchain development easy and fast, SettleMint accelerates blockchain adoption for every organization, empowering them to innovate without barriers.
The Frankfurt School Blockchain Center is a think tank and research center which investigates implications of the blockchain technology, crypto assets and distributed ledger technology (DLT) for companies and their business models. Under the new cooperation, FSBC will support SettleMint with research and consulting expertise as well as networking and marketing services to further leverage the increased interest in blockchain and distributed ledgers among both public-sector and private-sector organizations.
SettleMint offers a full-fledged Platform-as-a-Service solution for blockchain technology. This includes not only a deployment environment, but also a complete development and middleware environment, all available over the internet. The low-code platform makes it easy for IT teams to deliver blockchain applications rapidly, taking a visual development approach. The platform includes a suite of ready-to-use tools, frameworks, templates, and APIs to speed up the development of blockchain use cases.
On the basis of an extensive network and several years of industry experience, the FSBC is a suitable partner to support SettleMint’s innovative platform business model and to help provide new perspectives for development. In its capacity as an academic institution, the FSBC will also give further impulses in the research and development of enterprise blockchains.
Prof. Dr. Philipp Sandner, Head of FSBC, commented on the partnership:
“SettleMint aims to reduce major barriers in blockchain development and adoption. We look forward to supporting this ambitious and honourable goal with our industry expertise, research insights and extensive network. The partnership will enable both parties to complement and benefit from each other for years to come”.
